A new promotion will see $2 from every qualifying CRV straw purchased and dispatched from 20th of August to the 28th of September donated to the Red Cross drought appeal.

To get farmers behind the promotion the retail price of nearly all the CRV sire range is being reduced by up to 50%. This includes four sires with a BPI of 300 and above.

LIC Sales and Operations Manager Mike Rose says, “seeing the devastation from the ongoing drought currently occurring across a large part of Australia we really wanted to do something to help farmers in need and the communities they live in.  We have got clients affected in these regions and talking with them about the length’s they are going to keep their business operating and stocking feed is really heartbreaking. Many of these farmers have been farming for generations and this is the worst its been, with them having to make tough decisions daily in order to survive.”
