LIC Ireland plans Irish
bull breeding programme
With over 500 members signed up to LIC's Premier Club to date, LIC
plans to increase its investment in the Irish dairy industry, through
the establishment of an LIC Irish Bull Breeding Programme in 2018.
Next generation of
top bulls land at LIC
More than 200 young bulls have arrived at LIC's farm
in New Zealand to join the Sire Proving Scheme. These
up-and-coming bulls could soon be siring Premier Club
members' most profitable cows.
Premier Club sales
In the interest of providing as many farmers as we can with
the opportunity to purchase our genetics, all orders have been
restricted to a maximum of 25% of any one Premier Club bull.
More than ever before
with LIC's Premier Club
LIC’s Premier Club is about going the extra mile to support your farming business.
As a member you will have access to top LIC genetics never before available
to Irish farmers, as well as support to help add value on your farm.
Crossbreds Help Expansion

Previously Joe and Kathleen Kirwan milked a herd of high yielding
Holstein Friesians. They now milk 195 cows and plan to expand to 220
by 2020. Read how this goal is being made possible with crossbreeding.
